MARGARET AJEMIAN AHNERT was born in New York City. She has a Master of Fine Arts and Literature from Goucher College, Baltimore and a BA from Goddard College, Vermont and is a graduate of the Barnes Foundation of Fine Arts, Merion, Pennsylvania. She has lectured as a docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and taught art appreciation through the Art Goes to School program in elementary schools. Ahnert holds a 100-ton master captain's license and is an avid hunter and fisherwoman.<BR>As a businesswoman running her own business, Margaret produced T.V. documentaries in New York City. In the development of these projects Margaret traveled the world. As co-owner of the Fernwood Resort and Hotel, Bushkill, Pennsylvania, Margaret attended all board meetings and was instrumental in the daily decision making under the umbrella of a major resort with coast-to-coast sites.
