Camila Sosa Villada nació en 1982 en La Falda (Córdoba, Argentina). Estudió cuatro años de Comunicación Social y otros cuatro de la licenciatura de Teatro en la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. En 2009 estrenó su primer espectáculo, Carnes tolendas, retrato escénico de un travesti. En 2011 da vida al personaje de Ale en la película Mía. En 2012 actuó en la miniserie La viuda de Rafael. En 2014 protagoniza El bello indiferente, de Jean Cocteau. En 2015, Despierta, corazón dormido/Frida. En 2016, Putx madre y en 2017 El cabaret de la Difunta Correa y la miniserie La chica que limpia. Además, es autora del libro de poesía La novia de Sandro (2015) y de un ensayo autobiográfico titulado El viaje inútil (2018). Fue prostituta, mucama por horas y vendedora ambulante. A veces canta en bares.
