THOMAS, AMELIA

Amelia Thomas is a British journalist, currently based in Palestine and Israel. She has written for the Christian Science Monitor, Middle East Times, Egypt Today, The Washington Times, BBC History, and the UK Observer. Thomas also writes for CNN Traveller, Lonely Planet, and Wanderlust. She recently presented and episode of "Road Less Travelled", on Israel and the West Bank, for the National Geographic Channel (Watch the trailer here). A mother of four young children who often come with her on assignment, Thomas is co-author of Travel With Children, among many other Lonely Planet books.<BR><BR>Thomas?s first book, The Zoo on the Road to Nablus was published in 2008, and she is now working on a novel based on the true story of John Healy and Charles Bigelow, founders of the Kickapoo Indian Medicine Company.<BR><BR>http://www.gillianmackenzieagency.com/books/authors/3
